City of Dudelange
3401 Dudelange
Luxembourg

Dudelange, formerly known as the "Forge of the South", has had an eventful history, that of an industrial town that has experienced many ups and downs. But the firm will of the municipal authorities to invest in urban infrastructure and the faith in the future shared by all the inhabitants of the town have enabled this southern town to maintain and even improve an unbeatable quality of life.

Today, Dudelange combines its main assets. With 21,700 inhabitants in 2020 (the fourth largest city in the country) with a proportion of foreigners of nearly 40% of the local population, Dudelange aspires to sustainable growth. Bringing together people of 106 different nationalities, the city with its strong identity is a fine example of a successful multicultural community.
