Digital Meeting WG UN Decade of People of African Descent and Colonial Heritage
On October 18th the ECCAR Working Group on the UN Decade of People of African Descent and Colonial Heritage had a meeting to define the description and goals of future work. It is crucial to exchange about common challenges and opportunities in the field of anti-Black racism for cities to work on their colonial heritage. It has been a pleasure to welcome new colleagues like Mona-Lisa Kole from the city of Bern and Xhemile Asani from the city of Zurich. Also new cities, such as Lausanne, Saint-Etienne, Mao, Vienna, Evry-Courcouronnes, Wroclaw, Toulouse and Neuchâtel, have been welcomed as members of the Working Group.
