On 9 October 2020 the meeting of the Global Steering Committee of the International Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities is taking place online within the Framework of the World Human Rights Cities Forum from the City of Gwangju, Republic of Korea.
The Meeting in which the different ICCAR regional and national coalition attend, serve to share insights on the establishment of the Inclusive Cities Incentive Programme which will be pioneered by the City of Gwangju in the Asia-Pacific Coalition, and explore possibilities rolling it out to other regions.
The representatives of the different regional city networks are given the chance to present their reviewed Ten-Point Plans of Action and exchange with the Forum participants about concrete actions taken by urban actors to reinforce human rights systems within cities. ECCAR president Benedetto Zacchiroli will present ECCAR's paper on Intersectionality.
