Antisemitism is worryingly on the rise in Europe. On the initiative of the city of Dortmund in 2021 ECCAR established a Working Group on antisemitism and fostering Jewish life. The Working Group creates a forum for exchange and discussion of good practices in this policy area. It aims to analyze local policies in the field of antisemitism and fostering Jewish life to formulate concrete policy recommendations for cities. A central foundation of the work is the “EU Strategy on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life” (2021 - 2030). To learn more you can contact antisemitism@eccar.info.
