During the last Steering Committee meeting of the ECCAR, held in Toulouse on 7 and 8 June 2019, the city of Bologna, represented by Benedetto Zacchiroli, was reconfirmed at the head of our Coalition for the next four years.

In the same day, the cities of Barcelona and Liege were elected to the vice presidency in the persons of Mrs. Aida Guillen Lanzarote and Mr. Joseph Vromans, joining the cities of Athens (Lefteris Papagiannakis), Nancy (Lucienne Redercher), Potsdam (Ursula Lobel) and Esch-sur-Alzette (Daniel Codello) within the Board of the Coalition.

From the first of January 2020 the city of Potsdam will hand over the Office to both the cities of Heidelberg, which will become the social and administrative headquarters, and the city of Barcelona that will take care of the network communication and relations between the cities.
The re-elected President congratulated the two cities for thinking of a joint Office and thanked the city of Potsdam for the past six years in the service of the Coalition.
